L 100 cam effect vacum wipers?

Probably, You could use a storage tank. Mosy camd have low vacuum at low speeds, I don't think it would hurt in cruise.
 
The 59 AB engine in my '36 has a Weber F-1 cam, I believe it was called a "constant acceleration, 3/4 race".. At idle the wipers, tandem with a slave bar, (only one motor) are very erratic, at cruising speed they work fine until acceleration is required..
If I drove the car a lot I think I would investigate the use of a vacuum tank..
