found a good price for a kwik lift need to disassemble and move to my garage. Not knowing much about them can one old dude disassemble and load in a pick-up truck about how heave is the larges pice and how long to disassemble.

I recommend you get the model # if you don't already have it and do some research. I've watched crews of 3 and 4 men move and install them. They make it look easy but it's not. Depending on the lift, you'll need a truck that can handle the weight. I recommend you contact a local lift installer and get a quote,it may not be as expensive as you think. Ned in MD

Depending on the type of lift, I would say 2-3 hours to safely dissassemble and would not recommend this by yourself, the bigger pieces are going to be pretty heavy.

If it ids the drive on ramp type that you lift the back end up and swing the legs down, Then 2 guys should be able to handle it.
I have one and love it.

each ramp is two pieces bolted together, if you take them apart then you can lift each section (four sections total) and load it in the back of your truck. I unloaded mine piece by piece and put it together myself, 63 yo at the time.

That looks like it is a good compromise between the jack stands I have been using for years and the full lifts that I would need to raise the roof on my garage for. Do they have a web site did a quick search found people talking about them but did not hit the actual company site.

this is a drive on type raise back end with floor jack about 20" off ground when raised

I had one of these and they are great. Easy to take apart and reassemble but the ramp sections and the pipe that connects the ramps and accepts the jack to raise it is (are) heavy.
Best to have a pal give you a hand
