Ronnier, new rings need a load on them (such as a hard pull in top gear from 20 to 60 and back down again several times), or they will not seat! Just goosing it on a test stand won't do the trick.

Your quote above was addressed to Ronnier. Your reply would have been appropriate for a novice with NO understanding of fundamental engine technology. "Ronnier" (as evidenced in HIS video) has a little better understanding of fundamental flathead engine technology than most folks on the planet......I'd bet he understands a bit about ring loading and such. My video proves I know a bit about seating rings! As well as building some of the fastest and most powerfull flatheads burning gasoline. Oh and after two cross country drives with my roadster the rings are still good I must be doing something right. :D

Man! I got confused! I meant to reference Roadster 28's comment, not ronnieroadster's. (Also, I was agreeing with Ol' Ron). Sorry, guys!

Ronnie that baby is "Wicked "!
Ronnie also has a few KiWi-L100 cams ........
Thanks Ronnie !!!
Cheers

Mike Heart and Ronnieroadster were the first to use the L-100 back 30 or better years ago. Mike sold one to George Perry back in the 80's and that's the first time I saw it. Didn't think it would work, boy waz I wrong.
