King pins and steering

I have 42-48 spindles , king pins and tie rods on my model a for the last 30 or so years. All has been really good until lately when I turn hard right to get into my driveway, when a noticeable clunk is heard. I can replicate the clunk in my garage by turning the wheels on the floor hard to the right, the sound to me is on the right side . After jacking up the front end and with a bar under the tire, I can get a small amount of up/down movement at the king pins and at the r/h end of the tie rod . The amount of movement is very little, and the car steers well with no wonder. Grabbing the bottom of the tire and pulling up to test for bearings is not easy for an 87 year old . So what I am asking is ,where should I look to find the clunk ?
Thanks, Don
Ps I am running 1935 16” wire wheels with radials ,for 8 years, very happy with the combination .

Jack each front wheel up enough to slip a crow bar under the tire. push the bar down, raising the tire a little and at the same time grab the top of the tire. Feel if there is play there. check the LH tie rod end too.

If you have hydraulic brakes do you have the spacer that goes between the drum and the wire wheel? If not then you may have a wheel that has worked it's way loose.

Or cracked. If you don’t have the support rings when mounting early Ford wires on hydraulic brakes, it will commonly crack the mounting face of the wheel. Look around the lug holes of the wheel.
