Key Blanks

I need to make a copy of the ignition key for my '39 ford Coupe. I know that there are lots of makers (Hurd, Curtis, Star, ILCO, Dominion), but I am confused as to the blank number(s). Any help?

This should help. Dennis Carpenter is making repros of the Hurd keys for $5 each. You want Curtis blank H-5 or Hurd 9026

Macs, Early Ford and other vendors sell the correct blanks. You may find a real locksmith in your area that has the right ones. I know of two here that do.
