Kelsy hays 1935 pickup

Spare tire with 16 inch kelsy hays wheel wont bolt on to spare tire mount. The triangle plate is all the way up but its not high enough to allow wheel to go on. It is a 1935 mount! There is the small well in running board.
 
Yes, for side mount spares on pickups the running board had about 1 inch indentation.
Picture is of a 1936 pickup -- passenger side.

Here are two photos of my '36 Ford pickup with the original '35 wire wheel and original '35 spare tire mount.

My tire size is 6.00 x 16

That the spare tire mount exactly i have . My tire is 6.50 by 16. Pickup is 1935.Havent been able to post pictures. Some one added a 2 inch block on top of rod ,cut off end of threaded end and moved it up . I moved it back to original with out realizing they moved it up so tire would go on.

The yellow wheel you have pictured in your album is a 36 spoke Motor Rim & Wheel .Not Kelsey.It should not make a difference mounting it on your PU.
 
Was not aware of the spoke motor rims. Any more info on them? Do you know tire size of original?
