Just thinkin

Just Google eco boost swap and lots of stuff pops up. Looks like you need to be a pipe fitter and a electrician with a shoe horn. A guy could be driving around with a 292 and smile on your face for years before I would get something like this done.

Let me put it this way! A couple years ago I finally swapped the points and condenser for a 6-volt Pertronix unit in my '55 Load-O-Matic distributor. The Pertronix unit lasted ONE month and I was back on the road again in 15 minutes with my old points and condenser.

The first thing to look at when doing a swap is the location of the oil pan sump,if the ECO boost is front sump you have overcome the first obstacle.

I've used PertroniX for 15 yrs or so and never had any trouble that was caused by the actual unit. Only trouble I had was caused by a bad coil. You have to have the correct coil resistance .
