Junior motorheads... my boys!

I think I've created motorhead monters out of the boys with the '46. They of course call it the "Hudson Hornet" from the Cars cartoon movie.

The other day, my 4 year old asks "Mom, how come dad knows so much about old cars and trucks" My wife replies, he reads magazines in the bathroom!
 
I give them tools, but they end up hitting the car, thinking they are fixing it. At least the little one likes to bang wrenches against the car.
 
Give them a rubber mallet, less damage. My kids are starting to learn the differences between car makers at the ages of 2 and 4. Everything used to be "hot rods" now they're Fords and Chevys. My 4 year old calls my A a jalopy, I think he's the only kid in the county that knows that word.

That is great. I purchased my first old car this past December. I purchased a 37 ford Pickup for a father son project. I was just hoping my son would get bit by the car bug. On our way home from picking it up my son would not quit watching it. He is 12 yrs old and you would think it was falling off the trailer. we stopped for lunch and he had to sit in to where he could see it in the parking lot. I found out a week later we are having Twins. I told my son we might need to sell it now and get a Sedan so we can all fit. He begged me not to sell it and that he would like to have it for his first car. Made me a proud dad hearing he fell in love with the truck. He has actually been out there wrenching on it and has been reading all about them.
