His Ford400a account has been hijacked. If you get an email with a lower case "F" don't open don't open the link. It's for a Canadian Pharmaceutical Co peddling little blue pills.

We're talking about personal email accounts, not Fordbarn membership accounts, right?

The newest strain of virus's played heck with me also. My computer was down for 2 weeks while waiting on repair. This and the flu still has me playing catch up. Rod

Yep, it happened to me also about 2 or 3 months ago. I still can't get back into my original hotmail account and have had to use a new hotmail adress for the past 3 months. Someone needs to invent a way to send a signal back into the computor of the jerk that originates this stuff, that will fry his computor! :)

Mine as well. It sent out a ad for the blue pill to everyone on my contact list, which I had a hard time explaining. I had to drop my yahoo account.

May I suggest , to switch over to Google gmail . Its free . Loaded with free features, such as picture transfer etc , etc. I think it is hard for the hackers to crack the powerful Google computors.

And Google gets to keep track of everything you send or receive. To go along with all of the rest of the tracking of your web presence that they have.

No thanks. Big Brother is among us now and his middle name is "Google".

Isn't that the truth. There seems to constantly be some new avenue or new method to intrude in our lives.

Was his account on a remote email server jacked, or his email program\system?

I run Thunderbird 3.X for email on windows 7 64bit machines and have had no issues for 2 years now luckily. I run MS security essentials on a few machines and have other AV programs I run occasionally as well.

I do tech support for a living so I have to do my best to be sure what I send out is clean.
