I have a 1938 Ford and need to know how to remove the horn button to repair the spring. I know how to remove the light switch and clip to pull the light rod up, but after I do that is the horn button removeable.

Yes, you gotta bend the four tabs of the stainess or chrome ring so they are straight.
You only get to remove the button and reinstall it once though as the tabs will break off.
I have soldered home made ones back on. You can NOT get a new ring.
