Jailbar panel pulled from blacberries

Gary,
You have another awesome project! I will have to stock up on popcorn for the winter to set down and watch your progress!
59AB in there shold make a really nice truck to drive. I like it! Thanks for the pictures and background on the "captian".
Regards,
Chris

I too fell victim to the Captain America craze. Mine was the day after the 9/11 terrorist attack. I cut out a star from 1" styrofoam to 'print' the stars. One of the many flathead trucks that have slipped through my fingers here at 'Honest Gary's Catch and Release Motors'.....

Very nice ! The broom adds a nice touch. Love the name too, "Gary's catch and release motors", that should be above your shop. Know any carpenters who could make you a sign ?

Gotta love those panel delivery's, here's mine from about 30 years ago. I still miss it :)

Now THAT is a thing of beauty! No wonder you miss it. Interesting to us Yanks, me anyways is the one standard wiper on the right. Thanks for sharing that photo with us.

Gary, do you have another Ford flathead 6 cyl? G or H motors don't bring the money a V8 does and sometime pop up on craigslist at very affordable prices...

I'm loving this H. I have 2 G cores, one in the panel and one on it's side in the woods. But would be interested in another H.

Gary, my 1st car was a 50 2door sedan with a 6cyl. Folks don't realize what a wonderful & torquey engine those engines were/are. I'd love to have another.

Gee GB, that sure looks cool to me. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

There's a part of me that sees it with a couple of axles like dana 44s under it with 7.50 x 16 bias ply snows. I have an inline six with ****** and transfer. It could look very MH to the untrained eye. Only way I'd do that is if I had a good donor frame with a title, then do the mechanicals from the seat of my rolling stool, have everything dialed in and in the end, set this body on top. Way too much kneeling on concrete and endless trips rolling underneath. Even if I went stock I would separate it from it's frame. After maybe 25 old ford truck rehabs I finally know why you serious guys do a body off frame resto.
