our local histerical musium wanted to use my old model A that had belonged to a local judge and hunter in a parade, i last started it in 02, i took out plugs squirted som oil, turned over, replaced plugs ,looked in gas tank ,was 3/4 full of old gas. choaked it then turned ign on and started in 1/2 revolution...WOW someone somwhere posted a pix of my car that was taken in 1947 on the internet. look up [florida palmetto jumper] for a pix, it is still exactly as the pix except that he had changed the tires and rims.
it started on 1/2 revolution after 12 years

The Florida “palmetto jumper,” a combination dog-lunch-shooter wagon for use on the wide palmetto barrens. Two shooters ride on top while the dogs range ahead. When the dogs point the wagon halts about a hundred yards from the point and the shooters move up on foot.
