I got the new fuel tank installed in the bed of the pickup, the pump wired to a on-off switch, the fuel system plumbed up, and IT RUNS!
Just did a short test drive out to my mailbox (About 1.25 miles) and back on the lumpy gravel road. Only got her into second gear, but it's a start!
Next is wiring up the electric gas gauge, and fixing the seat in it's new position to give me a little more room, and when the new speedometer head comes from Mike's, I'll be able to get her registered, and on the road in time for the last car cruise of the year in Somerset, Ky.
Now all she needs is a proper name...
