It Don't Hurt To Ask

I drive my 1930 Coupe in lots of parades and I dress it up with red, white & blue and lots of flags. I am trying to figure out a good way to attach two small flags to the quail cap. In the past I have tied them on with bread loaf ties but, that is not stable. Any ideas?

If that is the case then I would invest in a second quail (repop) for the parades and drill a hole in each wing for a flag staff to fit snuggly into each hole.

I use zippy ties and tie the flags to the radiator stone guard. (just another reason to use a stone guard)

As an aside to your flag waving challenge, I saw a picture of a tractor in a parade with actual waving flags on either side of his radiator. He had rigged up two vacuum wiper motors upside down and fixed the small flags to them. Looked really neat.

Stuff "Red" modeling clay gracefully between the wings to hold the flags. Should be easy to clean up.
