Ist gear pedal

I saw a guy coming out of a car show and he stopped and limped around .what's the longest you have had to hold the ist gear pedal down .Miles ? was there a piece of wood you jammed in between the seat .I could imagine that you could get a pretty sore leg .

I have the parking brake set so straight up it is in neutral with the parking brakes off and then only have to push down to go in low. Use it when I an in a parade so it bump, coast stop, repeat. Couple of miles for the parade and maybe 1/2 mile when going uphill.

I have climbed hills in low that were several miles long. Yes your foot can get very tired. You can alternate left and right foot.
