Is your preference a 28, 29, 30 or 31 Model A?

There's something to be said about the early ones.

While there were design and engineering improvements along the way, there was also cost cutting.

I'll need to acquire all years to do further analysis. :rolleyes:

I'm really glad I don't care for the 32's, I would only be able to afford 1, at least with the A's i can have a small fleet!!:)
 
I started with the 29 pickup, then a 30 Town Sedan (which I should have never sold) and now the 28 Martin-Parry Station Wagon which is my favorite because I can load friends and family in it and have a fun time. I must like them all!
 
I dont own an 'A' right now, I just help Dad out with his '31 Coupe. If I had my choice it would be a '29 Pickup............hands down the best looking truck ever built by Ford or anyone else.
 
For Model A Fords, I prefer 28/29 roadsters or 30/31 phaetons and 30/31 coupes, RPUs are a toss-up for me.

My coupe is a 30. I've missed out on a few 28/29 roadsters and I'll stick with my 26 touring gow job, I can afford that.
 
Nothing, to my eye, is as cool as a '28 pickup. They look like a phone booth joined with a buckboard.
That said, I drive a '28 special coupe, and a '31 pickup. The pickup is more popular with casual lookers.
 
We have a few in the family and I like em all.
Bro-inlaw has an early Tudor, I have the 28' Special, Dad's got the 29' Tudor and a 30' P/u, Other Bro-inlaw has a 29 P/u and I am finishing a 31 AA.
I am bent for the Special coupe for cars but love my 31 AA for a truck.
 
I have always admired the early cars because they look more antique. The later ones are more sleek and modern. I have had them all, and the only one I did not like was the late 31, with that annoying gas shutoff under the hood. What a pain that was. I am down to one model A, a 29 tudor I bought in 1975, and a barn full of other stuff, most of which is for sale.
 
I have a 28, 29, and 30 but still prefer the early 28's. However, for comfort, driveability, and steering I like my 30 Coupe.

I have a 28 AR sport coupe, small, sporty a joy to drive. It is my favorite. Next to it is my 31 slant window sedan, it has such classic lines and built for comfort!
