Introdution a decade late

Hello, I've been on the site for more than a decade, but I haven't ever posted anything. I did have a '54 Customline until last year. I have a '30 Model A 5 window coupe now that is all stock minus the 6v alternator.
I'm basically here for all the detailed information from those that have experienced the things I'm beginning to find out on my own. I have more questions than answers for sure.

Welcome, 54Hotrodder
you'll find a lot of information here as you might have guessed.

Welcome. We all look forward to your posts. When you can, please post some photos of your car. Please tell us a little more about it and what your plans are.

Welcome to this side of the Barn, I am in both worlds (Y Block and Model A). Two things I can recommend are getting Les Andrews Books and join a local club. They will answer most of your questions and you can meet new friends to boot.

How do I post pics? I used to do it on the HAMB but I was not using my iPhone. Can I pull them over from the media files I uploaded into my profile?

Can be done using Windows - open the picture in a new window, copy the URL and insert it in message using the yellow/mountain icon. Not sure about using iPhone. Play around in the Test forum if you want. Here's one from your album:

Like everyone has said, Welcome to the barn. And most defiantly get volume one of the Les Andrews books, it has a ton of information on repairing your new 'A'.

And like others have said, the chatter is fine here, just not on your clutch :)

Greetings from SE Michigan!

Thank you for the response. I do have all the Les Andrews books, but I like to see if others have found better solutions or easier practices since the books were written.

Take the Les Andrew’s books, add in 25 FordBarn members, and you will get 37 different ways to do something. Including probably some new ideas from Les himself (although I don’t think he posts here).
