Hello to all,

Just a few words about myself: I was first interested to old cars at a young age. While serving in the Navy I purchased a 1964 Thunderbird, later a 1960 Thunderbird. My third car was a 1955 Ford Customline. I later sold that and started a family. My two cars are 1952 Cadillac 62 Series, and recently acquired a 1951 Mercury 4 door suicide. As a preference I will keep my two girls stock. Look forward to being part of your community.

Thanks

Welcome to the Fordbarn. I'm sure the guys here who own Mercury's will give you some good advice. Post some pictures of your cars.

Welcome! You will find a ton of information, and plenty of entertainment! And as JM said, post some pictures..... we love pictures!

Welcome-drifteromatic 51. I also have a 51 Merc. If I can be of any help, just send me a PM. Also, thank you for your service to the USA. Jim

Yes - having a little trouble uploading pics but here is one shot of my 1951 Mercury. Will upload more as tonite. Thank you for the kindness.

Welcome on board. I'm also a 51 Merc owner and would be glad to give any aid you might require on them. I know a few folks that play with the Caddys but don't know much about them myself. I used to play with the T-birds too but am trying to simplify my intrests as I get older. The older I get the older the cars I get.

I am really happy with my new Mercury and I am pretty sure I will be looking for pointers from you guys here and there. Here is a picture of my 52 cadillac, she is not as pretty as the Mercury but also pretty happy. As you can see its a work in progress but straight body and nearly all original from top to bottom. Right now, I am trying to piece the bumper together as you can see its missing. Have all the parts, just looking for factory bolts (cause I'm weird).

Runs strong, just needs alot of love.
