Intro

Thank you everyone for all the replies. I wasn't expecting that kind of turnout :)

I have looked at clubs close, the closest thing is about an hour and a half away. That's a little more travel than what either me or the car are prepared for at this point. I'm about an hour and a little from stlouis, 3 hours from Peoria.

I have had lots of questions, luckily i have found most everything I need with searches on here and haven't had to ask much. I'm lucky to be fairly mechanical and able to work through most everything from reading.

Thanks to those who have complemented the car. Its one of those 30 footers, needs patch panels bad, and paintbrush paint job inside and out. Seat cover is a shower curtain we cut and fitted, and the panels cardboard. It hasn't been to meet some look requirement, but what I could afford financially and time wise to be able to enjoy the car.

I have tried to put money where it needs in in the chassis, and still will need a bunch before a nice interior or paint job comes into vauge possibilities :)

Love the car though, already dreaming of the next body style to add to the shed.

Thanks again. Adam

It may not be perfect in your eyes, but you are on the road DRIVING it! I bet a lot of members here would kill to be able to take the cars they are working on out for a drive. Enjoy! You are ahead of the game my friend.

Way to go, you snatched it from the jaws of death (as a rod) and brought her back to life the way she was born, made...intended.
Welcome to the Barn
