Intrigued with Pickup Color -- Help Needed.

I've been reviewing colors of interest for my '40 PU resto-rod project and ran across a photo of this truck on the Flicker.com website. Here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/18005580@N06/6278413994/

I'm interested in identifying the paint for the brown-colored truck. It's not a '40/41 color but seems familiar as an earlier Ford color. So far, I can't find it on the Dupont or Paintref websites. Does anyone know the specific color or want to venture a guess? Better yet, does anyone recognize the truck and owner? It would be great if he/she was a Ford Barner and I could pose the question directly. Thanks -Ken
 
That truck was at the Grand National Show at Pomona in 2011 and possibly this year. You may be able to find the owner through those folks.

HA! You may be right Lawson. That's about my luck. Thanks all for the responses so far and Md8810, I'll follow up on the Pomona 2011 show to see what I can find out. Maybe someone will come along and identify it still yet... wishful as I am. -Ken
 
That looks like a Model A color to me. You might re-post on the Model A forum.

A couple of choices might be Commercial Drab Ditzler/PPG IM020 or Seal Brown Ditzler/PPG IM118.

Those guys can probably spot the exact color instantly.
