Even though the seller sometimes gets irritated I try to make sure the packaging will protect the item. I have had rare parts packed poorly and arrive broken. The refund is not much consolation when you know it may be years before you find that part again. I had a 35 Chrysler intake manifold arrive broken. Castings can be brittle. In hindsight I wish I had them bolt it to a 2x6 board to prevent flexing.
