Wish I could, but mine is sick in the garage and no time to work on it. :( Hope to have the T out on Sunday if I can find time.

Several Model A events are going on in SoCal. Santa Anita As car games sounds like the most fun. Orange County's Poker Run will get the cars seen by more people. Unfortunately I'm committed to this tradition. It was 50 years ago I bought my first Shelby.
Planning events in SoCal can be tricky there are 39 published car gatherings on the 13th. http://www.socalcarculture.com/events.html

Unfortunately, all my A's are off the road at the moment. The Roadster is having the diff rebuilt, and the Tudor is having the front end rebuilt. So, I will spend the day working on the Tudor, it's the closest to being finished, trying to get it done for a club run in October. At least it is most definitely a Model A related activity on the day.

Today is the day! I am getting together with a few folks for a tour through Valley Forge National Park in SE Pennsylvania so anyone looking for something to do with their A, come and join us! For others, don forget to submit photos to Sailbruce@aol.com also to Facebook Group International Model A Ford Day 2025 and post some here. Most of all have a great day with your A!

I got a report about 50 cars showed up for the Santa Anita As car games.
I checked the Lions museum off the bucket list and we'll take the A to dinner.
Lions Museum was created to maintain the memory of Lions Drag Strip and SoCal drag racing. There is about 100,000 sq ft. Anybody who grew up in the LA area will recognize the Helm's Bakery truck and reminisce about the smells of fresh baked goods when the driver slid those long drawers out. When I was 14-15 we'd pedal our bikes the 3 miles to Irwindale Dragstrip to watch the Stone Woods & Cook Willys Gasser run. There have been a few replicas built but this is the real car.

I put a hundred miles on my Town Sedan today. My club joined with two other clubs to have a nice day. There was a nice lunch including barbecue pork, sweet potatoes, beans, etc. We then had a choice of three different locations. I chose the Southern Distilling Company. They have 550,000 barrels of bourbon in the warehouse that is aging before bottling. After the tours we joined back together for a Model A gymkhana. The name of the get together was the little brown jug. That jug was the first place prize for the gymkhana. We had 21 Model A's, which is a lot for this part of North Carolina.

Here are some images from our tour today at Valley Forge National Park. We all had a blast and I managed to put almost 60 miles on my Tudor today

The Diablo A's took a tour to the Oakland CA Historical Radio Museum. Has 7 Model A's, a beautiful Chrysler Imperial convertible, and 2 moderns. Learned about early radio, 1900-1920.

This weekend saw more than 150 Model A's gathered in Boxboro, MA for the 68th annual New England Meet. September 13 featured a Model A tour through the countryside ending at an eatery for lunch. It was a grand event as it's been for all the years we have been able to participate!
