Why was September 10th or abouts, chosen to celebrate international Model A Day ?? I thought it was October 1927 before the 1st one rolled off the line in USA & not till January 1928 before RHD ones in Canada, Im sure this has been asked before ?

I believe the first one was on Henry's birthday in July but it was later moved to the beginning of Sept as the weather world wide is more mild at that time.

Jacket Patch to commemorate the occasion: This one is from 2014

Hi
Yes, there will be Iron On Embroidered patches for around $3 apiece. Anyone have a good suggestion for which model / color it should be this year? Email me a photo from low down off left front and it will be considered. sailbruce@aol.com
We have used Roadster, Town Car, Sport Coupe, Coupe, Cabriolet, Tudor, Fordor, Woody, and pickup truck already. All profits go to National Club's Model A Youth programs. It was originally June near Henry's birthday, then to Sept due to heat in the US South, and snow down under. It now shares its date with the New England Meet with well over 200 cars participating. Kiwi's have regularly participated and ordered patches. Mailing first class to NZ is not a big charge and we use PayPal to eliminate currency complications. Attached is the parch but this is a drawing. The real one is embroidered.
