Thanks Doug. I'll take a look at German coach builders of the period. The front and around the side of the wheel well looks to be standard late A. The "apron" looks very '33 -'34 to me. Russ

Nice looking body and check the hood fit so maybe a straight frame . Has a truck rad shell and I think the fender skirts are a later add on . Let us hope it does not get rodded . I really did not want to buy my latest coupe but I knew the next guy in line was going to chop it so I rode to the rescue .It did turn out to be a good deal and my son bought it off me .I got to thinking why did I save it, did it really matter as there are many still about HHMMM, thinks .

Post # 6, by John: " Has a truck rad shell . . ."
------------
John the car is wearing a stock 1930 car radiator shell, not a truck rad. shell. The cars have a little 'drop' in the middle of the shell's top section, as shown in the photo of this car. The truck rad. shell is straight across the bottom of the top section. Truck radiator shells are generally painted black, not stainless steel as this one is. Some deluxe models of limited edition truck styles did have a stainless steel shell, but the shape was the same as the standard black-painted steel shells - no center drop in the bottom of the shells top section.

You are dead right Doug I am mistaken I should have worn my reading glasses !!! . I do have a 31 AA truck and several pickups and passenger cars so I do know the differences Its an age thing !!!

John in same place same weather .

I like the look of the fenders, almost gives it a German military look. It always amazes me how little suttle changes really change how a Model A looks.Like the Budd built radiator shell changes the look of the model A. Uglier I think. But I like the look on these fenders. Frank
