Been a long while since I’ve posted but now I have question.

Can a pre-war intake be used on an 8BA block. The reason I’m asking is that I have a Fenton 3x2 intake but many say 3x2 is too much and one carb should be blocked off. Other say just run 2x2s and I have another Fenton for a 2x2 setup.

The road draft tube will be replaced with a PCV in either case.

I hope this all makes sense...

Installing a early 59AB intake on an 8BA will cause breathing and ventallation problems because of the 59AB vent tube location according to this thread below:

Just read that thread and it seems that it would be ok if, as I stated, a PCV was built into it. However a vent in the oil pan has me wondering...,
