I am getting ready to install the windshield. Was there a thin seal between the hinge of the windshield and the body/frame? Thank you for your reply. Ed

I just re-installed my windshield on my 68C and used this seal...fit perfectly. I did have to make holes for the windshield hinge bolts...I used a manual paper punch to make the holes in the rubber.
Some have reported problems with seal being too thick and resulting in the bottom of the windshield frame hitting the gas tank filler or cowl header....I did not have this problem at all. I am using an original gas tank cap.
