I have seen a lot of posts regarding installing tube shocks on a Model A. I have a 1930 Town Sedan and have had success installing shocks.
I purchased shocks from Pete and Jakes - part # 1084.
For the front bottom I fabricated a mount that clamped to the axle. At the top I needed to build a mount that raised the shock the correct amount. That would be with the shock extended 2" while sitting static. I used the factory holes to mount and to secure in position.
For the rear I fabricated a clamp that clamps to the rear of the suspension where it is flat. The top bolted directly into the factory hole. Also designed so that the shock is extended 2" when static. This made a big difference in handling especially with a town Sedan which is a little top heavy.
Now to see if I can include pictures.
