Installing Gutters on 29 Tudor

i installed gutters on my '31 coupe. bought the two piece ones from snyders. there was no way i was going to install them like they say. to take the alum. piece on the body, and then try to tap, or snap the outter gutter on to that piece. think obout it, my coupe has a bend to it . and to tap, or snap it together, its alum. it would bend. i snaped the two together, and then molded it along the body to conform to the body. the cut to lenght. i used 1/32" by 1/2" buytle tape double face, that i had from installing break metal on large commercial buildings. perfect. good luck JAN.

Just a a bot more information, these are original tack strips and gutters, just sand blasted, filled the rust pits and painted, so I don't have to shape to the car, they are already shaped. Question I have is where do you start, seems like it has to be at the curved end, but I vaguely remember someone said to start in the middle, but couldn't find that post in the archives. Again, any input will be appreciated.

Ron, start with the rounded end at the back fo the car and work forward. It is easy to take up slack on a straight section than a curved section.
