Installation Kong distributor

My cap has mid section broken and wrong rotor.
Here is the desl to many Kong distributors now.
It will be Very hard get this to work for me.
I should of course checked this out but lack of experiance always cost money.
I invested allot of time ( money ) try get condesers and coils to it.
This distributors is not cheap either.
But if working Ok, not = they is worthless.
But thats the situation with most of this old parts is now 2025.
I guess there is parts still out there but most is at collectors not to be used.
I guess I has tol leave this idea.
If anyone can help out, contact me.

The pictures above confuse me, so Kong had a plastic cap, what rotor/distributor has single D or doubble D.
The Ducoil, what has that incommon to Kong ss parts really dont fit.
The cap I has, is what I has seen on most pictures on Kong ( atleast champions models )
What type is that, its a 8 cyl, and was it his own rotors ?
If a Lincoln it might can be search via those cars collectors (?)
I guess race collectors had this Kongs never sell spares.

2 Kong Championship Distributors - one is like most other Kongs I have seen and has the single large flatspot to locate = single D.
My second Kong has the clear cap and rotor has a large flatspot one side and a small flat on other side = double D. It has plates inside made of Brass. This Kong usupposedly was Kong’s personal test and development distributor.

Now DuCoil versus Kong. No parts interchange. BUT I believe the DuCoil Rotor could be modified to fit a Kong distributor. Both rotors are the same length. The only difference is the internal hole size where it fits on shaft. DuCoil = .570 Kong = .625 the flatspot is different but I think can be modified to fit. Or modify the shaft to fit rotor.

Drill the carbon out and install new spring and carbon contact should fix that cap.

I has a friend in eastcoast now on the big swapmeet, maybe he find a straight one.

-But what I has is from a Nash straigh 8 dual point.

If you read my post #32 in this thread I solved the mystery of what distributor the angled rotor came from.
