Insert bearings

I am putting insert bearings in my motor, what needs tobe done with rear main seal. And which is the best to use for packing. That you for all answers.

Terry Burtz makes a nice seal for the A. The crank needs to be modified slightly but is worth the trouble.

If you are not using pressure to the mains you do not need a seal. What you do need is a clean return hole in the cap, .004 end play in the crank, seal the rear main cap, seal the rear main bolts, seal around the rear of the camshaft. Plus some blocks have a bolt hole going in side the block by the cam shaft. Seal that. If you do all that right, they will not leak.
