The '32 Model B coupe that I had "back then" had doors that hinged at the rear.

I goofed, I meant to say that the doors hinged at the front, not the rear.
Sorry about that.

Suicide doors have a long history but they didn't stick long in the eras they were used.

as a very young youth, i had an experience with a sedan's suicide doors! I am lucky to be alive!... and even though very young... i still remember the entire event... even flying out of the car and thru the air onto the grass median and rolling over n over... along side the roadway.

it all happened faster than a nano second!! my belief in a personal Guardian Angel started then...

The early trucks were mostly open cab with no doors. There were no American made Ford trucks with suicide doors that I'm aware of. I don't know about other manufacturers. European trucks were different and some may have had rear hinged doors.

The Lincoln plant built cars that had rear doors that open toward the rear for years. Even the late 60s design 4-door T-birds were made that way. My 1951 Mercury Sport Sedans have rear suicide doors and my 1947 Triumph Roadster has them as well as a fold up windscreen for the dicky seats.

The 3 window coupe was the only model with suicide doors in 32. It also has a slightly chopped roof. It was the Thunderbird of the day.
The 34-35 Dodge trucks have suicide doors

That coupe in the first picture sure has a nice shine. I’m guessing pretty new car.
I also went flying out of a suicide door when I was 5 or 6. My parents got rid of it shortly after. We were just pulling onto the Hwy, and I wanted to throw an apple core out the window, but grabbed the door handle by mistake. I thought that was why my back has been a problem my whole life, but the other day, my spine Dr. said not the case. He said you probably hit your head, which explains a lot.

In the first post, looking close at the license plate, doesn't look "USA" style. Also, maybe a long shot, but the big old growth beech tree being mutilated hints of England.
