Info on Swap Meets?

As I am getting a bad case of "Spring Fever" I've started to attempt to see which swap meets I would like to attend in 2013.
One I have always heard was a good one is the Chickasha pre 1945 only swap in March. While I was surfing around looking for a website with the 2013 dates (which I did find) I found another swap meet listed for Chickasha that I wasn't aware of. It takes place twice a year and the fall one (Oct. 17, 18, 19) is supposedly the 'Largest in Oklahoma' and is listed as accepting anything auto related.
My question is - with Chickasha 513 miles from my house which is the best one to attend? Of course, that question is pretty subjective and will differ for everyone. :) But, give me your perspectives if you please.

here is one for you!

Go to the one in march if you're gonna go to one. It's mostly T stuff, but there is some A parts in the mix as well.

Went last year, mainly T but was good value & found some rare parts, This year its San Diego end of feb, plus vist too AZ parts not too mention the international FAST event in AZ ,Its the company that counts ,

Chickasha pre war swapmeet is in March is a very good one. It is held at the Grady County fairgrounds. It is full of Model A era stuff. The other meet is actually held twice a year in a field adjacent to the fairgrounds lots of all kind of stuff not just model A era stuff.
The pre war meet would worth a really long drive, the others not so much. I make all three usually, but its a 50 miles for me not 500.

Thanks for all the input!! I have been to the Wichita, KS meet a couple of times in the last three or four years and really was a good one. The one in March sounds good in Chickasha - thought they might have a lot of A parts with it being all pre 1945.
Always wanted to go to the Iola one but haven't made it yet.
Philip, thanks for the suggestion"Try Decatur,Tx Feb. 21-24. Usually a very good meet. Lots of A and T stuff." Sounds like a good possibility too.
Thanks again all - Jay

curious if the webmaster would consider a specific side-bar "link" that folks could post swap meet info on ... easier to find than finding buried in various posts ... juz thinkin:)

hopefully folks would not abuse it, but maybe include 'scale' (1-10) that the person entering the info could include that would suggest the 'quality' of the meet (i.e. likelihood of a reasonable showing of "A" parts) ... have been frustrated after driving some distance to find more of a crafts show than parts meet.:(

Charles , I like your idea, This would be a great help too barners , We down under struggle to find what date swap meets are on & where, big ones no problem , We have too plan way in advance our trips & usually find out about a swap meet a week before & can,t change plans , How about a calender , side bar where we could list swap meets in your area or others, What do we have too do to get this up & running ?? Please do it . Derek from a hot NZ

I'll second the idea! Other sites have them, so can't be like re-inventing the wheel. Know it would be work for the web wizard, but at least it is do-able.

Can some one advise here what is needed for above ??Who do we contact ?? Set up a notice board for above forums, Most of you guys are a lot closer & clever than me , Please lets get this started , Derek

Its been pointed out too me we already have a calander, True but all i see is birthdays & no invites ?? I guess given enough time one could post there, Just thought Charles idea of a separte posting would be easier & encourage folks, clubs , not only A guys to post . Well i tried , Derek From hot NZ Heading too the cool soon,
