I have seen them on vehicles that have hit a deer --- they break into pieces just like any other piece of plastic.
 
I used to spend time with friends in Southwestern Montana. They said you could spot the new people and tourists because they had a grille in their truck.
 
Years ago, I had to drive to work on a wooded rural road. I would see deer almost every morning in Spring and Fall. I hit a couple of them. I added a deer whistle to my repaired car and never saw another deer on that road. (Just my experience)
 
You all have got it made. When we lived in downtown Olympia, this time of year all the deer came into town destroying my wifes roses and such,leaving nice things to step in while walking to the garage on my way to work and scaring the crap out of you when walk right into one coming around the corner of the shop in the dark. We still swear they knew that in the city limits the were safe. Tim
 
The only thing I can say, after hitting several horny deer over the years, and I don't mean antlers.
Anyone can kill a deer with a rifle.
It takes a real man to kill one with brand new Cadillac!!
Ask me how I know....
Then again don't remind me.
