Not yet quite finished, but I thought I would go ahead and post the ignition system web page. Feel free to proof it and comment on my mistakes. Suggestions are welcomed. If someone has a unit on problem solving the ignition system and wouldn’t mind sharing I would appreciate it. It is easier to animate, when you are following some type of outline.

Just a short comment: you can not rotate a 28-29 7 tooth steering gear to correct the advance and retard distributor arm travel; you have to bend the arm at the end of the rod to correct travel. The 29-31 2 tooth steering, as shown in your drawing, works fine as you describe.

Thanks Ron. I labled it as a 29-31 two tooth "fix". I'll look at one of our club member's 28-29 'A', so I can see how you suggest to bend it for the 7 tooth.
