I have tried searching the help forum for the answer to my question no luck, so I will ask the experts on here for a answer to what I hope is a simple question. How do you remove from the dash the ignition switch. I have a new one to install still can't figure it out. thanks in advance for any help you can give me. I also tried to google it they don't go back that far also the green bible does not address it. No Help

Hold the bezel on the front of the dash, push and turn the switch body in back to remove.

That's strange because as I remember, the shape of the hole in the dash prevents the switch from rotating.
Push the switch from the back of the dash towards the rear of the car then rotate the bezel to release it, is how I remember it.

From what I recall, you remove the bezel first, then push the switch from behind the dash to the rear of the car, rotate 90 degrees.
