Count Barb and I in. Best attendance would be if it coincided with a Florida event. Any flathead events down there next winter?? The event you had last year was great. Glad to see another one coming. John

John, Don is looking forward to having you ride shotgun again...:D

Vic, I believe I have seen that '35 Fordor Sedan somewhere before....;)

My vote would be to have another get together in January or February of 2011. It's always nice to get away from the cold weather up here during that time of the year. The picnic on the Gulf was very nice and a great way of ending the meet. I really enjoyed spending a day in Ft. Myers visiting the Edison/Ford Estates. Someone on the Old Barn had mentioned that they would enjoy seeing an exhibition baseball game down in Ft. Myers. The Don Garlits Museum was also a good time and would be something to consider again for those folks who have never been there before. Another thing to consider would be the possibility of doing a date that coincides with a good car show. The garage visit to your neighbors place to see his Model T's was also fun. The cook out at Mr.& Mrs. Moose's place was also very nice, although that may be asking a bit much from them to have that spread for us again....unless maybe we could all chip in some $$'s for food and drink. These are just some of my random thoughts, and I'm really hoping I can make it down there in 2011. John

This year we had the Florida Meet in February (19-21) to coincide with the Zephyrhills Swap Meet. On Friday we did a local garage tour, Saturday most of us drove up to Ocala (in our Flatheads) to tour Don Garlits Museum while a few went to Zephyrhills. Saturday night we had an excellent BBQ provided by Mr. & Mrs. Moose and Sunday we held a cookout (hosted by oldford2, John & Barb) at Fred Howard Park on the Gulf of Mexico. We also had a raffle of parts & services donated by FordBarners. I think it’s safe to say everyone had a good time. If enough Barners respond, we'll start looking at dates and locations so, let us know. I'm looking forward to doing it again.:)

Hey iron butt John, are you going to the Charlotte show nxt week. Look me up if so in the swap meet.Sign on camper awning "kens ford carburetors".Be glad to meet you. ken ct.:) Leaving here Sun for NC.

I'm outside of Tampa but would travel to a good size meet.

I'm just north of Tampa in Odessa, NW corner of Hillsborough County. Most Saturdays a bunch of "Flathead" guys end up at my place messin' with our cars & trucks. Hopefully this Saturday we'll fire up the 8RT we installed in my '53 F-100 Panel. If you can make it, PM me and I'll tell you how to get here. Vic

Hi John, I've been getting some interest from several "Barners" about having another Florida Meet, we've got plenty of time to set it up and I'd like to expand the program but I'll need additional help from Florida based Barners. I'll keep promoting it here and on the ChevyBarn non Chevy page. Hope you can make the next one. Vic
