Idle-fuel mixture

I have the idle-fuel mixture screws adjusted where I like them, engine running smoothly and maybe running just a tiny bit lean, but the idle fuel mixture screws are ice cold. Doesn't that mean it is too rich? I don't want to foul up my new spark plugs.

If you're engine is idling smooth and running well in general, then you don't have to worry about fouling plugs. As far as the mixture screws being cold, I assume it's because of the cold air going by the edge of the throttle plates and the cold transferring through the throttle body and screws.
I have never heard that it means it's too rich. That shouldn't change the temp there.
