ID rumble latch,32-34?

Can anyone here ID this latch? The bushing or spacer also has slotted taper grooves where as what I am familiar with just has a notch .

David,I am aware of that but is there a reason for the odd design of the bushing on this latch? Just curious.

Ditto on that question.


Functionally the "tall" latch can be used 1930-32 rumble lid (except 3 window), 1933-34 roadster rumble lid, 1932 3 window trunk lid, and 1933-34 trunk lid.


The similar body latch with the "short" collar is used 1928-32 trunk lid (except 3 window) and 1928-29 rumble lid.


As to reproductions we make a USA one. Drake makes a fairly good imported one. Most ones you will see are the 10.00 imports that give Taiwan a bad name.
 
I believe the Ford latch was not made by Ford, the ramped areas could be for another Mfg. vehicle.
