ID hinge pin accessory mount?

Hi all,

Can anyone ID this hinge pin mount? It doesn't look like any mirror mount I've seen in my limited experience.

Actually, to me it looks like an old-school AM antenna mount...

It's been ridding on the this '29 std coupe for at least 40 years.

Looks like a brake rod clevis to me. Farmer fix??
