I know I must be missing something. Is "Bumber" a colloquialism for Bumper in some sections of the country? I have seen it used several times here by different folks.
 
One of the best investments a Ford person can make is in literature. There are several excellent books including those offered by the EV8 club that go into great detail on each Ford model 32 up. These days the average price hovers around 20K for even a sedan so as with anything worth the money, it pays to educate yourself as much as possible. These asre valuable assets we own and well worth the best of care.
 
Hey, I'm not picking on anyone's spelling. I am just asking clarification of a word that is apparently spelled properly. lol
