Hubcaps for 1935 16” Wheels

When my existing tires wear out, I plan to replace them with 1935 Ford rims. I bought 5 used rims from Bratton’s a while back, and I’m looking for hub caps (without a V8 logo).

Can anyone recommend a source?

Also, out of curiosity, how do you remove the 1935 hubcap without damaging the paint/powder coat?

O saw those online. Do they still work for 35 wheels although the website stops at 1934?

Bob Drake used to be the best source. Remember that 32-34 were available without the V8 but I prefer the '32 (shown).

The Drake hubcaps used to be really good, nice and heavy. Nice paint. Whatever you do. if you order anything from him, make sure he has it in stock otherwise he keeps your money and waits until he has enough orders to do a batch or he allows you to buy something different, but I couldn't get my money back. That happen to me a long time ago and I stopped using him for that reason. His hub caps "were" nice, might still be. You might even be able to buy some on Ebay that somebody bought from him and never used.

Years back Moon hubcaps were popular. They are still available in a variety of sizes. Google "moon hubcaps."

Baby Moons - hotest thing in the 60s. All the lead sleds were running Moon discs. At least here in SoCal. A friend needed some for a Bonneville car and they were out of stock. Dean Moon decided to go ahead and make them and we got to watch them being spun. My friend was dating Moon's daughter at the time so I figure that had some influence on getting them made ASAP.
