It is my understanding that Howells parts used to be good but since the father turned the business over to his son the parts no longer fit.I've bought parts from them in the past and haven't had any problems. There has been an on going thread on the HAMB regarding their parts and service problems that you might want to check out.

Probably the only reason that they don't have more negative feed back on eBay is that most model A guys buy parts and then it may be months or years before they get around to trying to put them on. The parts usually look ok untill you try to install them. Buyer BEWAREAs most have indicated, Howells do seem to have more than their share of problems. They also sell on eBay (I.D. is 09-40 ) where they're feedback is about 98% - about 6 negative and 600+ positive feedback in the last while - so it would seem they do manage fairly well there. If what you need happens to be listed on eBay, your recourse is probably better and easier should you have problems.
I've had the best luck with Snyders sheet metal. Bill Stipe makes the best patch panels and Snyder sells them. What do you guy's considder as a top notch supplyer of steel body parts ? Meaning for correct fit etc
