Howdy ........... & my 24 C-Cab

Hello all, new to the Barn and to Mdl Ts. Been a while but was posting on the HAMB, they're still down for the much anticipated rehab so thought I would check you folks out. Looks like a bunch of good folks here.

I realize most of you here are more purists, and this one is more of a hotrod, but I'm sure someone here has the answer I need.

Here's my recently acquired 24 C TT. Been working out some suspension / steering issues and need a little help. I believe the front axle / drum brake setup is 36 / 38 and needs wheel bearings and king pins replaced. LPS has no idea or reference for part numbers. Any input from the pros here would be appreciated.

Thanks

The limited view of the cab does look like a TT cab. Some of the rest of the vehicle is anybodies guess. Cab may be the only TT piece used?????
The rear end is probably not "Ton Truck" (TT) as that would be worm drive and extremely slow and not something a Hot Rod would want.
Factory TT did not have front brakes, however some hydraulic aftermarket brakes are available. Good Luck in that "HOT ROD" world.

Your absolutely correct, only thing TT is the cab. Rest is a homebuilt brew, albeit pretty well designed, of late 30s styled Ford front suspension, 60s styled 4 link rear all powered by a late model Buick V6 w/3spd auto. Obviously I probably should have posted in a different area, but that didn't occur to me until after I hit the POST button.

Thanks ............. Rocky

The V8 guys on fordbarn will probably know the parts numbers, but whether a tube axle like that used the exact same parts is only a guess. Probably did because it would make sense.

Thanks for the assist guys, especially to Rich b and Henry/Kokomo. I appreciate you tolerating an of topic post from a newbie. LOL
