How to wire flasher

I want to install an extra flashing taillight on my truck for safety. I have bought a 6V flasher. The flasher has 3 prongs with an L an X and P at the 3 different leads. Can anyone tell me how to wire this flasher. Thanks, Joe B.

The L means load - that is the wire to the lite bulb.
The X is the wire from the voltage source.
The P is the wire to the panel lite, if you do not use
a indicator lite just leave it unwired.
