How to remove coupe seat

I asked the following question in the thread on seatbelts in a coupe, but have not gotten any responses due to the limited nature of the thread, or everyone just plain ignoring me :-)

OK, so I've got the car on jackstands and the interior and rumble seat bottom cushions are out.

I'm trying to figure out locations for seat belt mounting points, but I really need to see under the seat frame.

How do I remove the frame and the seat back?

How is the seat back attached to the frame and how is the strip of cloth attached that covers the gap when you move the seat forward?

I've looked in Les Andrews, the Coupe Book, and vol 1-4 of the restore books and I can't find anything.

My coupe is a delux(1931), the seat adjusts with the knob and screw, the seat is bolted to the tracks through the wood frame.
As for the cloth , mine has a 60s mohair interior, that was not done on mine, I just hace a space ----but with the seat all the way back it is closed, I would suspect it is attached to the package tray under the covering.

As for seat belt mountings you could ask my brother(Kevin in NJ) for pic of how he is doing his 68c, I know the subrails are wood(on 68c), but the angles are the same, and the seat frame is similar.

I would think you could mount the anchor points in the rumble or trunk area like I did on the roadster. I just brought the belt ends between the backrest and cushion out under the rumble panel to the anchors which are about 4" behind the backrest panel. I used a piece of 3/16" steel under the rumble riser on the underside of the body.

The package tray fabric is attached to the seat. Look underneath the package tray from the trunk or rumble seat area and you will see two or possibly three "tabs" that attach to the cardboard under the package tray cloth. The cardboard and the fabric will slide out (forward) and remain attached to the seat. Then you can take the seat off the sliding tracks and out of the car.

What year is the car? Early coupe seats remove in a differet manner then the late seats. Need more info

It's a very early '31. Engine date is October '30.

I turned the adjuster all the way forward and when it gets all they way forward, the seat stops dead in its tracks, to use a pun. Any additional turning of the adjuster and it just flexes the metal bracket into which it screws.

I tried pulling on the seat to see if it would move out of the tracks, and it doesn't.

BTW, if you have comments on seat belts (which is what spawned this thread, please post them on the seat belt thread - http://69.61.21.195/forum/showthread.php?t=2061- so that everything on seatbelts is in one place so that others can find it all).
