This should be simple, but -- at least for me -- it's not.
I'm trying to install a new passenger front door lock assembly in a 1930 Briggs Town Sedan. Barrel of the assembly is too large to slide into hole in door skin. Assuming I can file the assembly barrel to make it a smaller diameter, how is the assembly secured in place once it's inside the hole?
Thanks.
