How to delete a thread ?

How do you delete a thread ?
I had some items for sale that sold, now I would like to delete the ad.
I was looking for a delete thread option but can'nt find how to go about it.
Can someone tell me how ?

I'm unsure if there is a way, but however you can go on your ad and click onto edit, this will lead you to the option "go advanced" this will allow you to change the heading of your ad to SOLD and erase all of your ad except for one or two words which is the closest I can get to deleting it. Good Luck
