Hi, to preserve your patina finish, people have suggested wiping the body with kerosene.

I heared that before, but have never tried. I mix Diesel with oil in a pump spray can. It works fine to preserve rusted metal and it doesn't smell. I will try Kerosine to see the difference. Thanks for the tip ...
