Got a frame mount power booster brake set-up on a 1955 Ford F-100 best way to adjust rod from booster to pedal not to keep pressure on MC----- front pistons do not return all the way back in after brake pedal is released, proper return spring installed on pedal -- pistons will return if you insert screw driver thru hole to make them release then rotors spin free the correct way they should----only 200 miles on conversion--- Thanks

Use a return spring on the pedal. Adjust rod to between 1/16 and 1/8 play between pedal and master cylinder piston.

Make sure the pedal can return or move farther when disconnected from the pedal push rod, and adjust if necessary. This ensures the booster control valve will fully return. It's also important to make sure the master cylinder can be fully stroked before the pedal bottoms out. This can be checked with engine off/no vacuum.
The master cylinder push rod should have about .040" to .060" clearance with the primary piston, and this is checked with full vacuum (about 20" Hg) applied to the booster.
