how much grease

I see that there is a grease fitting on the bottom of the yoke that goes around the u joint. Does it get filled till you can't fill it or just a couple shots? Thanks
 
If you are using a grease gun, there is no point at which you would know it is full. With a pressure gun, you can fill it, and also fill the transmission, (unless you have sealed bearings) and probably fill past the drive shaft seal to the rear end. Several pumps should be enough at the normal service interval.
 
Remove the Speedometer Drive Gear Assembly from the Torque Tube. Observe the opening closely and pump grease until you can just see it start to come out. That should be enough.
